I was always taught to treat people the same way that I would like to be treated. I’ve always believed that no one person is better than any other person. We’re all equal. In that same vein, I believe that all people should be equal under the law and have the same rights and privileges as everyone else – regardless of their race, sexual orientation, and so on and so forth. When I was contacted by EQL, I knew I had to get involved and share a post because equality is important, even more so in our current political climate.

EQL is on a mission to help brands come up with strategies to show more equality. There are lots of ways to do it, but their approach is simple. We can be change agents every day of our lives – we don’t even have to go to a rally or march. We can show our support of equality in the clothes we wear. The clothes that we wear every day can make a statement about our beliefs and can influence the beliefs of others.

Aside from the clothing they create, they donate 35% of proceeds to great organizations that do important work for equality in our communities, like the ACLU!

The people behind EQL are a group of like-minded marketers who know that positive communication around equality is of extreme importance. By showing our support for equality, we are taking a simple step for change. Just by wearing your belief, you are a change agent towards equality for all.
