I seriously don’t know where November went. I went right into Yuletide and all the time for myself went out the door. I’m excited to be watching the show (on the monitor) right now and typing up this post for all of you. I’m surrounded by some pretty glamorous costumes and fancy sounds of the season, so it’s a good time.
It’s been a hectic month, but I’ve got plenty to share with all of you.

Podcasts
I’ve been listening to my usual slew of podcasts these days! I recently added Wine & Spirits by Monica the Medium. She grabs her wine and chats with some fun guests and then does a live reading at the end. I’ve always been fascinated with mediums, so this is a great one.
Also, shout out to Tim Ferriss for a recent episode of his show where he interviewed Alice Little. His podcast usually ranks high on the list of business podcasts, but he also interviews non-business people for their tips and insights on life, which I love. He recently interviewed Alice Little who “is considered the #1 top-earning legal sex worker in the United States.” The interview is fascinating. Definitely worth a listen!
Books
I was sent an advance copy of The Wife Between Us from St. Martin’s Press! It’s a thriller that I’m LOVING so far! Even though it’s taking me a hot second to get extra time to read, I’ve loved what I’ve got to read so far. It’s on sale in the new year, so you can pre-order it on Amazon!
TV
Happy to say that I’m pleased with the Dancing with the Stars finale! I was rooting for Lindsey Stirling & Mark Ballas, but I’m MORE THAN OK with Jordan Fisher & Lindsay Arnold winning.
I’ll add that Grey’s Anatomy has been ranking high on my list this month too! Once Meredith Grey won the fancy Harper Avery award, well, it’s all been going up since! 🙂 I also love that this show has been running forever and I’m never over it.
Food
Can we all chat about HungryRoot? That meal delivery box was saving my bacon during this hectic month of rehearsals and hustling around everywhere. I can’t stop RAVING about how simple preparing these meals can be. While they are vegetarian/vegan based, they also contain plenty of protein. I’ve also been able to pair leftover turkey with some of the dishes for a heartier option. I literally throw the vegetables in a skillet with a little olive oil and it’s done and down on my plate in less than 5 minutes! It’s been a great investment for saving my time and dishes. I also have to say that Wiseguy Lounge behind Goodfellas on Mass Ave is becoming one of my new favorite haunts. Between the craft cocktails, good pizza, and super personable bartenders, I’m always pumped to stop in when I can.
I’ve also been trying out a plethora of new protein powders. Again, I’m all for the simplicity during the hectic holiday season, so if you have one that you like…let me know!
I’ve essentially sampled all of Starbucks’ menu as well. This is not recommended but works in a pinch.
Also, I must throw a major thumbs-up to Soupremacy for making a FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC Buffalo Chicken Soup.
