I’m a firm believer in shopping small during the holidays! Whether that’s shopping at local stores (like some of these Indianapolis places) or shopping with an individual maker on Etsy – I’m all about cutting down the trips to the big box stores to keep the money flowing closer to home. And, if I can support a woman’s small business – I AM ALL ABOUT IT. I do think there’s a place for bigger brands, obviously, but if I can see where my dollars are actually going and give someone something they’d love in the process, I’m all about it. PLUS, I’VE GOT SOME DISCOUNT CODES FOR YOUR SHOPPING NEEDS! I may have a few more coming up soon and I’ll update this post accordingly! 😉
Tonight, I’m excited to share women-owned businesses for you to shop this holiday season!
CoffeeOverCardio
I won’t lie, I just love this stuff! I’ve tried almost every flavor at this point – either in full-size bags or the sampler packets. The founder, Abbey Scott Crowson, created her coffee business after spending way too much cash on fancy coffee. So, her solution: “A coffee meant for messy-bun, yoga-pant-wearing millennials with a little attitude and a little kick!” CoffeeOverCardio offers a variety of flavors: Cinnamon Bun, Cake, Chocolate Donut, Vanilla Hazelnut, and more! Or, if you’re looking for creamers that have a high-quality MCT Oil and a Nootropic supplement that are keto-friendly, gluten-free, carb-free, and sugar-free – try the Smart Start Creamers! Check out the apparel options too! Coffee is perfect for a stocking – wink, wink!

Shop Gina Celeste
One, you should definitely follow her on Instagram. She’s always chatting about clothes and other life moments and IT’S FUNNY! Two, shop her online store! There are clothing and accessory options for a variety of sizes and it’s affordable. I’ve shopped some of her live sales and those items always go really fast. Pants, tops, hats, gloves, t-shirts – it’s all there and would be perfect to put under the tree this December!

Fitness Carli
I love simple meals. If I could literally throw things in a bowl and have it mostly be healthy, I would do it. And so many of her recipes in her meal plans are LITERALLY ZERO PREP. I love that because I don’t often enjoy time in the kitchen. I’ve used her 14-Day Meal Plan off and on over the last several months and it’s unbelievable just how simple it is! The meal plans come with a shopping list and it’s broken down by day if you just want to try a little at a time. Plus, the plan uses a lot of things you probably already have at home or would regularly shop for – yogurt, rice, lunch meats, and freezer & fresh veggies. My favorite words to describe the meal plans – easy, convenient, nutritious. Plus, you can rotate the meals and ingredients so you don’t get bored! Great for people who want to stay on track with their nutrition NOW or in the new year!
Boomerang BTQ
Gifts, size-inclusive clothing, accessories, and fun home decor are all over Boomerang BTQ. I also highly suggest following the store on Instagram if you need some daily doses of humor in your life! I’m also a personal fan of the extensive t-shirt collection that is for sale! The shirts are funny, quirky, and are perfect for every silly lady you know!
Jordan Seifrig – Salon Owner at Salon Lofts Broad Ripple
I’ve known Jordan for well over a decade at this point (feeling old here) and I highly recommend booking with her if you’re looking for a stylist! She’s funny, clearly enjoys what she’s doing, and she’ll make you look good in the process. I’m always that person who just goes in and says “make me look pretty” and she makes it happen! I even heard she’s got some goodies on sale for the holiday! Get those holiday haircuts ASAP! Tell her I sent you – you won’t be disappointed!
Cream & Concrete
I definitely have a couple of her small vessels around my home as candles and one is probably about to be a small planter. I love the stark white look of all the concrete items she sells on her website. There are even minimalist jewelry pieces and simple textile pieces that are perfect for home decor enthusiasts. Plus, she’s local to Indy! Even better!
I’m also sharing a special little shout-out to one of my favorite lady-led businesses – Penn & Beech Candle Co.
Book a time to come pour some candles with us this winter (or anytime) or come in and shop anytime!
TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS: Do you try to shop small or women-owned businesses when you can? Why or why not? I’d love to know more about how you’re shopping this season!
