It’s like Christmas in July over here! Amazon Prime Day is quickly approaching. As someone who is practically smitten with Amazon Prime and that fierce two-day shipping, I will always sing the praises of that speedy Amazon Prime service. You can get almost anything sent to you in two days – even out here in Nowhere, Maine. It’s amazing.
Even though I’m here at camp, living that counselor life, I’ve rounded up TEN of my favorite deals that you shouldn’t miss. I’m not one to buy lots of extra stuff (minimalists unite!), but some of these should not be missed!
What is Prime Day?
According to Amazon, “Prime Day 2019 is a two-day parade of epic deals, starting July 15 at 12am through July 16. Prime Day is an annual celebration with awesome deals and exciting product launches, plus live entertainment and more, exclusively for Prime members.”
So if you haven’t signed up for Amazon Prime, do it now to get the best deals!
Otherwise, here are my top ten favorite Prime Day deals!
1. Lodge L4HS3KPLT Cast Iron 4-Piece Cookware Set
I’m not even kidding. This cookware set is a steal! If you’re looking to replace any cookware that you have with long-lasting and highly functional pieces, cast iron is the way to go!
2. Dyson Pure Cool, TP01 HEPA Air Purifier & Fan, For Large Rooms, Removes Allergens, Pollutants, Dust, Mold, VOCs, White/Silver
A little search on the Prime Day “sneak peek” page, tells me that there will be savings on Dyson vacuums and purifiers! This is awesome! These fans are some of the neatest things for my fellow allergy people and they save a TON on space!
3. Crock-Pot SCCPVL610-S-A 6-Quart Cook & Carry Programmable Slow Cooker with Digital Timer, Stainless Steel
Oh yes, the infamous Crock-Pot. Investing in a Crock-Pot is never a bad idea! These also make great gifts for recent grads, new homeowners, etc. Plus, if you like to meal prep, these are super helpful.
4. Kindle Fire Tablets
I love my Kindle Fire. It’s great for reading books, getting the news, watching Netflix, social media, etc. It’s seriously a super-functional tablet. I use mine often and I’m super sad that I didn’t pack it for the summer.
5. BOGI Microfiber Travel Sports Towel
These towels are seriously the neatest things ever and you can’t beat Amazon’s pricing on them! You can get them in S-XL, but I will always recommend the XL size because they are perfect for beaching, pool parties, or even hot yoga!
6. HeimVision Sunrise Alarm Clock
If you have struggles waking up, particularly in the dark winter months, this is a no-brainer! And, if it will be discounted for Prime Day, I highly recommend snagging one of these!
7. Home Hero Stainless Steel Kitchen Utensil Set
I love the functionality of tools like this! I like to replace whole sets at once if I can and not have a hodge-podge collection if I can help it. Great as a gift or perfect if your kitchen utensils need to be replaced!
8. Intex Pillow Rest Classic Airbed with Built-in Pillow and Electric Pump, Twin
This is one of the best air mattresses I’ve ever had and I’ve now owned two! The built-in pump seriously makes ALL the difference! It’s perfect for my summer camp bed, but it’s also extremely convenient for guests. Folds and stores nicely.
9. DASH Compact Electric Air Fryer
I’m dying to get my hands on one of these! I don’t need one of the jumbo ones because I’m never cooking for a whole family. I’m seriously pondering ordering one of these and then stashing it so I’ll have it when I get back home later this summer.
10. Set of 6 Packing Cubes/Travel Cubes
Packing cubes are lifesavers! I love using them on all of my trips so that I can keep everything together and they’re even great for seasonal clothing storage.
